Job Overview: The Global Trade Compliance Senior Manager will oversee all trade compliance matters and manage the trade compliance teams within the Broadband Communications Systems Sector. This role involves developing and enforcing trade compliance policies, supervising the team, and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure compliant business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise sector trade compliance teams (team of 8).
- Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures.
- Review and manage export authorizations and records.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Program Management, and Engineering to support trade compliance strategy.
- Ensure timely investigation and reporting of trade compliance violations.
- Support compliance audits and assistance visits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of trade compliance experience OR 16 years without a degree.
- 3 years leading a high-performing team.
- 5 years of experience with ITAR, EAR, and U.S. trade sanctions programs (OFAC).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret USG regulations and assess risk management.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with OCR EASE.
- Background in Foreign Military Sales or previous military policy roles.
- Technical background and understanding of compliance audits.
