Job Summary : To perform accounting, bookkeeping and payroll services for various clients of the firm
Major Responsibilities :
- Record business transactions and maintain the general ledger, including bank and credit card reconciliations, accruals and journal entries
- Prepare financial statements
- Prepare payroll for clients
- Prepare and file sales tax returns
- Communicate directly with clients in person, email and via phone
- Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision
