Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Repair Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of heavy equipment, including trucks, tractors, and trailers.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose faults in heavy equipment, identifying areas that require repair or replacement.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
- Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex issues and make necessary repairs.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and repair is preferred.
- Certification as a (DOT) commercial motor vehicle inspector is mandatory.
- A valid driver's license is also required.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency with diagnostic software is an asset.
