Position Summary
This position is accountable for assisting in the operations for Birmingham terminal location.
Essential Functions
- Supervise performance of drivers
- Conduct interviews and hire drivers
- Work closely with dispatchers on troubleshooting items such as delivery issues, driver training program, staffing levels, customer requests / complaints, etc.
- Approve / Deny driver PTO requests, manage annual vacation schedule, create weekly driver schedule for dispatch
- Assist in the forecasting of terminal performance and analyze terminal financial information
- Ensure maximum asset utilization
