What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Educator/Quality Assurance position at Kahala Nui?
Kahala Nui, considered Hawaii's premier Senior Living Community, is looking for a Nurse Educator/Quality Assurance for our Hi'olani Care Center.
The Nurse Educator/Quality Assurance provides clinical education, training and evaluation to Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Support Licensed nurses (RN and LPN) and Aides in the Hi'olani Care Center. They support the Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement and Continuous Quality Improvement (QAPI/CQI) processes and assist with the Admissions process.
The Nurse Educator/Quality Assurance also provides training and education on Matrix 360 during upgrade implementation and continuously for new hires and staff development.
The Nurse Educator/Quality Assurance is an integral part of communication within the Hi'olani Care Center. They will host/provide daily huddles and information updates for all shifts.
This is a fully in-person position. This is NOT a hybrid/remote position.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Graduate degree in nursing or equivalent education preferred.
- Valid state of Hawaii Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Previous nursing experience in a long-term care or acute care setting preferred.
- Previous nurse educator or nurse trainer experience preferred.
- Proof of annual tuberculosis clearance in accordance with state regulations.
- Must be available to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification

Salary : $95,000
