Remodeling Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking for a Remodeling Project Manager to join our team!

A remodeling project manager oversees all aspects of a home renovation project, from initial planning and design to final completion, ensuring the project stays within budget, schedule, and scope while managing communication between clients, contractors, and subcontractors, obtaining necessary permits, and maintaining quality control throughout the construction process.

Key responsibilities of a remodeling project manager:

• Project Planning and Budgeting:

• Collaborate with Client Relations team to develop project scope and design plans.
  
  

• Create detailed project timelines and schedules.
  
  

• Estimate project costs, manage budgets, and track expenses.
  
  

• Prepare and submit necessary permits and applications.
• Team Management:
  
  

• Hire and manage subcontractors (plumbers, electricians, carpenters, etc.).
  
  

• Coordinate work schedules and ensure efficient workflow between contractors.
  
  

• Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
  
  

• Foster open communication and collaboration within the project team.
• Client Communication:
  
  

• Regularly update Client Relations team on project status, including progress reports.
  
  

• Address client concerns and manage expectations throughout the project.
  
  

• Obtain client approval on design changes, material selections, and critical project milestones.
• Quality Control:
  
  

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to construction standards and quality specifications.
  
  

• Identify and resolve any quality issues promptly.
  
  

• Manage material procurement and delivery to the job site.
• Risk Management:
  
  

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  
  

• Monitor safety compliance on the job site and enforce safety protocols.
  
  

• Manage change orders and address unexpected project challenges.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Construction Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of construction methods, building codes, and remodeling practices.
• Project Management Skills: Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and designers.
• Leadership Abilities: Capability to lead and motivate a team of subcontractors.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software, estimating tools, and design software. Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Zoho
