What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optical Laboratory Equipment Operator II position at Kaiser Permanente?
Job Summary:
Must be able to operate computer driven equipment to required machine specifications, and perform minor adjustments on the equipment to ensure productive output meets quality and quantity standards.
Essential Responsibilities:
Work with the following equipment and/or the following workstation: Auto Taper, Auto Blocker, Manual Blocker, Auto Generator, Fining, Polishing, Ultrasonic Washer, Backside Coater, Freeform Generator, Freeform Pre Polish, Laser marker, Lens Inspection, Ultrasonic Washer AR, Ar Chamber Operator, Ar Chamber maintenance, Metrix, cnc Drill, Dimetrix, Auto edgers, Tracing, Inventory replenishment, Receiving Coordinator, Lens pick, Floater stock room, Frame pick and Dismantles.

Pay Grade: 06
Basic Qualifications:
Experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to understand and interpret fractions, decimals, positive and negative numbers.
- Must be able to operate a computer.
Education
- High School Diploma.
- Must be able to read and write in English.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Able to pay attention to detail and stay focused in a high production repetitive environment.
Notes:
- Work schedule: Sunday 9:00 pm - 5:30 am, Monday - Thursday 10:30 pm - 5:30 am.
