Learning Management System Administrator (Cornerstone)
The LMS Administrator will have the primary responsibility for the functional and technical operation, enhancement, and maintenance of the Agency's Learning Management Systems (LMS) eTrain2 operating on the Cornerstone platform. The LMS Administrator will fulfill current and anticipated training and regulatory demands for employing Agency. The LMS Administrator will provide expert solutions for technical support, application of advanced LMS principles, concepts, and methods to deliver and maintain LMS to include monitoring, design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of the LMS content, assets, and other resources used for overall system functions. The LMS Administrator serves as the expert in problem solving techniques and the legal framework in which the LMS operates.
Essential Job Duties:
· Manage Agency LMS and serve as expert in LMS application and implementation.
· Evaluate and make recommendations concerning overall plans and proposals for complex problems.
· Develop, interpret, and analyze data and reports extracted from LMS.
· Develop efficient and effective automated systems approaches for presenting training reports and graphics.
· Prepare recommendations for changes or modifications in functionality for LMS.
· Serve as expert in problem solving technical issues and legal frameworks within LMS.
· Demonstrate high skill level in interpreting and developing guidelines and requirements to meet Agency's mission.
· Provide expert assistance to the Chief Learning Officer in the formulation of initiatives, plans, systems, and procedures to manage and continually improve efficiency of LMS.
Required Minimum Education and Experience:
· Certified Cornerstone Administrator.
· Bachelor's degree plus 3 or more years of relevant experience.
· Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Cornerstone LMS administrator working within the government sector.
· Technical skills including troubleshooting, and understanding of directory, file structures, and systems.
· Ability with course design and development.
· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
· Ability to collaborate with others at all levels of the organization as well as vendors.
· Customer service skills, responsive attitude.
· Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts in layman's terms.
· Quarterly travel may be required.
· Hybrid/remote with mandatory on-site meetings.
