Technical Writer and Health IT / Cybersecurity
Veterans Engineering is seeking an experienced Technical Writer with extensive experience in healthcare and cybersecurity to contribute to federal proposals. The ideal candidate will possess at least 10 years of experience in their field, strongly emphasizing supporting federal projects and proposals. This role requires a deep understanding of federal regulations and compliance standards and the ability to create innovative solutions and articulate the approach effectively to diverse audiences. Success will be measured by the quality of contributions to proposals and the overall impact on winning federal contracts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Technical Writer, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop content for compelling proposals that meet federal requirements and address agency needs and mission objectives.
- Provide expert knowledge in healthcare or cybersecurity, ensuring all proposals reflect the latest industry standards, technologies, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in preparing content for technical sections of proposals, translating complex information into clear, concise language that addresses agencies' goals and objectives.
- Offer insights and strategic recommendations that enhance the competitiveness of proposals and align with federal agency priorities.
- Work closely with proposal managers, capture managers, and other SMEs to ensure cohesive and compelling proposal narratives.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, effectively articulating technical concepts and solutions to stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of trends, challenges, and opportunities within the healthcare or cybersecurity sectors that may impact federal proposals.
