The Director of Claims is responsible for leading claims operations while driving business development and client acquisition for the Field Adjusting Company. This role ensures efficient claims processing, regulatory compliance, and operational scalability while securing new business opportunities across various industries, including insurance carriers, self-insured entities, TPAs, and government agencies. The Director will oversee claims performance, vendor partnerships, and profitability while fostering client relationships to expand market presence.
Proven experience in business development and client acquisition, with a track record of securing contracts with insurance carriers or related businesses.
Strong knowledge of claims processes, industry regulations, and best practices in independent adjusting.
Ability to negotiate service agreements, pricing models, and partnership contracts effectively.
Excellent relationship-building, sales, and networking skills, with the ability to engage with C-level executives and decision-makers.
Experience with CAT event claims handling and large-scale deployment of adjusters is a plus.
Proficiency in claims management software and data analytics to track performance and support decision-making.
Strong leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring teams and fostering a high-performance culture.
