About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Trust and Estate Attorney with a modest book of business who is ready to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Trust and Estate Law, a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, and be admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in good standing.
- **Key Responsibilities:**
- Drafting wills, trusts, shareholder agreements, and other essential estate planning documents.
- Handling estate and trust administration matters, tax returns, and procedural or disputed issues.
- Negotiating, drafting, and analyzing legal documents related to Trust and Estate Law.
- Representing clients in court and providing compassionate guidance during challenging times.
- Managing and delegating work to a paralegal.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in good standing.
- Over 5 years of experience in Trust and Estate Law.
- Trial experience and strong skills in negotiation and conflict resolution.
- A portable book of business valued at approximately $150,000.
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $135,000 per year, a flexible work schedule, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
