Kal-lite, a leading provider of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) solutions, is seeking a proactive Inside Sales Representative to support business development efforts and customer engagement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with customers, generate leads, and contribute to the success of our sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and qualify potential leads through inbound inquiries, online research, and outbound calls/emails.
- Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing customers, providing product information and assistance.
- Sales Order Processing: Manage the sales process from initial inquiry to order fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timely responses.
- Quote & Proposal Development: Prepare and follow up on sales quotes, proposals, and pricing agreements.
- Market & Competitor Research: Monitor industry trends and provide insights to improve sales strategies.
- Support for Outside Sales Team: Work collaboratively with outside sales representatives to provide leads, schedule appointments, and support follow-ups.
Sales Administration & Digital Marketing Support
- CRM & Data Management: Maintain customer and sales data in CRM software, tracking sales activities and interactions.
- Email & Social Media Marketing: Assist in executing targeted email campaigns and engaging with potential clients through LinkedIn and other social platforms.
- Website & Online Lead Management: Respond to website inquiries and ensure a smooth digital experience for prospective buyers.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of inside sales experience, preferably in building materials or manufacturing.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Experience with CRM software, email marketing, and online sales tools is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Local candidates preferred.
