Shannon Owens Regional Manager
- How long with KGS? Joined KGS in 2012, starting through a temp agency, and promoted to Regional Manager after two years as a Field Manager.
- Prior Experience? Before KGS, Shannon worked in retail operations and as a General Manager and Buyer for a clothing store.
- Passionate About? Shannon is deeply passionate about spending time with her two daughters, traveling, home decorating, and caring for her two dogs.
- How long with KGS? Joined KGS in 2023 as Merchandising Manager for West Michigan.
- Prior Experience? Troy spent 25 years as a District Manager at Walgreens, gaining extensive leadership and merchandising experience.
- Passionate About? Troy is passionate about ministry, community service, fishing, traveling, and cherishing quality time with his family.
- How long with KGS? Joined KGS in 2019, serving as a Merchandising Manager for Meijer and Walmart stores in West Michigan.
- Prior Experience? Becky worked as a Crew Leader for a Landscaping Company and as a Visual Manager and Designer at a Garden Center.
- Passionate About? Outside of work, Becky is passionate about spending time with her family, design, and gardening.
- Lead a team of merchandisers in setting up and maintaining plant displays according to store layout.
- Provide daily updates to management and ensure smooth operations across stores.
- Ensure proper watering practices and maintain plant health.
- Audit and ensure that all signage is updated in a timely manner for promotions and sales.
- Work independently and in a team setting to meet daily goals and expectations.
- City of Residence: Candidates must live in close proximity to our local client retail service location(s), which will be confirmed during the pre-interview process.
- Experience effectively leading a team.
- Reliable Transportation: Reliable transportation is required to commute to work.
- Flexible Schedule: A commitment of at least 2 days per week for 4-hour shifts is required. Additional shifts may be available upon request.
- Physical Fitness: Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, push, pull, and remain active for the duration of their shift.
- Prior merchandising or retail experience is a bonus.
- Prior experience in team management.
- Willingness/desire to do the work alongside your team.
- Ability to hold a schedule and be organized.
- Reliability is essential.
- Strong customer service oriented attitude.
- Flexible work hours and weekend shift opportunities.
