DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR PHARMACY INVENTORY MANAGER
Collaborating with pharmaceutical staff, you're responsible for managing our medication inventory, keeping things organized, and ensuring our records are all accurate. Precision is key as you stock medications on shelves, manage manufacturer returns, replace products, and remove expired meds. You meticulously receive and supply orders while keeping an eye on current inventory levels. Prioritizing regulatory compliance, you conduct physical counts, check for record discrepancies, and analyze the cause of any issues.
You're motivated to improve our processes, and you develop new strategies for increasing efficiency and timeliness. You manage quarantined shelves, process drug returns, and support your team in any other responsibilities that come up. Your ability to accurately manage medications while continuously refining our strategies makes you an invaluable part of our team!
PHARMACY INVENTORY MANAGER REQUIREMENTS
- Pharmacy technician license
- 2 years of inventory experience in a pharmaceutical or healthcare setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Ability to effectively use specialized stock control software
- High school degree or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with identifying operational issues and implementing effective problem-solving strategies would be preferred.
