What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cooks/Sandwich Maker $15-16/hr + tips position at Kalapawai Cafe & Deli?
We are looking for friendly, well organized and energetic individuals to join our evening kitchen crew. Egg cookery, Grill burgers to temperature, Fish cookery, Pizza making, Sandwiches, Salads, and appetizers. Prep vegetables and deli meats, make sandwiches and salads, and restock lines. Cleaning and closing kitchen. We offer medical with Kaiser Permanente or HMSA Wages include tips (on paycheck) AVG tips per hour range form $5-$7/hour
Requirements/Responsibilities
All of our kitchen positions require:
-Non- slip shoes.
-Prompt attendance is a must!!!
-Availability to work mornings, weekends and holidays
-Must be very clean, well organized and able to move from station to station efficiently
-Basic knife skills are a bonus but we are willing to train
-Daily kitchen prep for both lunch and dinner services
-General cleaning and facilities maintenance
-Other duties may be assigned from time to time
-Ability to work in a team in a very fast paced environment
-Adhere to chef's recipes and preferred cooking techniques
-Food safety and sanitation is key!
Salary : $5 - $7
