Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our guests receive the highest quality of service while maintaining efficient workflow within the restaurant.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the restaurant during assigned shifts.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies.
• Manage staff performance, providing training and support to enhance their skills in hospitality and food service.
• Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality standards are met.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, fostering a positive dining experience.
• Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary.
• Utilize SPOT ON POS system for managing transactions and reporting sales data.
• Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
• Collaborate with upper management to implement strategies for improving service efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or food service industry.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and restaurant operations.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes and systems.
• Experience with shift management, including scheduling staff and managing labor costs.
• Proficiency in using SPOT ON POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead a team effectively.
• A passion for creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
