Kalesta Healthcare Group, a California based senior living consultant company, is thrilled to be growing into the Pacific Northwest. Over the next 60-90 days, we will begin consulting services for 11 skilled nursing facilities throughout Washington and Oregon. In order to provide meaningful consulting services, we need to hire an inspired Washington based consultant team. Job Summary:
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and support of the organization's IT infrastructure. This includes administering and troubleshooting networks, Microsoft 365, Windows 11 systems, and Unifi hardware. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network management, systems administration, and cloud-based technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows 11 workstations and related hardware and software.
- Ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest patches, updates, and security enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain efficient operations.
- Network Management:
- Manage and support network infrastructure, including Unifi network devices (APs, switches, controllers).
- Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, VLANs, and VPNs to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
- Implement and maintain network monitoring and security solutions.
- Microsoft 365 Administration:
- Manage Microsoft 365 environments, including user accounts, licensing, and security policies.
- Support email services, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 applications.
- Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions within Microsoft 365.
- Security & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
- Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA), encryption, and other security measures as required.
- Monitor systems and networks for security breaches and respond to incidents.
- Technical Support:
- Provide Level 2/3 support for IT-related issues.
- Assist end-users with troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work with other IT team members to ensure seamless operation of IT services.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Proficiency in managing Windows 11 systems, Microsoft 365, and Unifi network devices.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, routing, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security principles.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network , Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Ubiquiti certifications) are a plus.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3 years of experience in systems and network administration.
Working Conditions:
- This position may require occasional travel to various sites.
- Must be available for on-call support as needed.
Salary : $26 - $31
