Kalil & Co., Inc., the nation’s premier and largest media brokerage firm with over five decades in the industry, provides brokerage/M&A services to owners of television, radio, outdoor assets and communications towers in the owners’ pursuits of their ownership goals. Our continuing growth has resulted in the need to add an additional analyst to support the brokers in media M&A endeavors.
Analysts will have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
- Supporting brokers by conducting research, preparing reports, and assisting with client meetings
- Reviewing financials/reports from clients to identify important points/trends
- Analyzing data in Excel
- Preparing presentations (PowerPoint) on research findings or other topics based on data analysis to managers or clients
- Communicating with clients to clarify information or gather additional data when needed
- Analyzing data/market to identify trends and patterns to make recommendations for potential clients/deals/improvement
Compensation: Analyst compensation will vary depending on level of education and years of experience. Health, 401(k), medical FSA, paid vacation and personal time off are part of the overall compensation/benefit package.
Education: Analysts are required to have a bachelor’s degree in a field such as finance, accounting, or business. Competency in MS-Office Suite of applications, particularly Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, is mandatory. Candidates with high level Excel skills are preferred. Graphic design ability/experience, while not mandatory, is ideal. Command of the English language, both verbal and written, is a must. Knowledge of grammar is vital, business writing experience preferred.
Training & Experience: Analysts will receive specific on-the-job training from the firm’s brokers and management team.
Communication: Strong communication skills are vital in your support of the brokers.
Data Analysis and Critical Thinking: The successful analyst must be able to interpret data, draw conclusions, advance projections and clearly communicate such to the brokers working on a project.
This will be a full-time, salaried position. Evening and weekend work on rare occasion, some travel might be required.
