JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Billing Specialist
Department: Powerplant Division
Reports To: The Billing Supervisor/Materials Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Compile costing estimates and totals for all work orders and/or all requests submitted by the Powerplant Division Departments.
2. Prepare financial overviews for the Powerplant Division Managers, Accounting and Planning.
3. Maintain the accuracy of all MISA files, which includes all nomenclatures, labor, outside repairs, inspection and test cell procedures.
4. Submit all final costs to the accounting department and customer.
5. Balance and report monthly revenue to the Accounting Department.
6. Perform any addition duties that the Director of Powerplant or Powerplant Managers may assign.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate; some college desirable.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
