About the Role:
Kalmbach Feeds is seeking an experienced and strategic Operations Director to lead its warehouse operations. This key role will be responsible for driving financial, operational, and cultural results within the warehouse. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who can develop processes, train staff, and deliver a world-class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement advanced analytics tools to monitor trends, optimize processes, and inform data-driven decision making.
- Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure success.
- Champion employee engagement initiatives to build morale, increase retention, and foster a culture of excellence.
- Identify and implement system and process improvements to support scalability and evolving business needs.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to the warehouse management team, focusing on leadership skill-building and succession planning.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- 10-15 years of experience in warehousing or supply chain, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership positions.
- Proven record of successfully managing teams to complete multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience working with WMS systems and related warehouse technology.
- Documented ability to establish and drive a culture of continuous improvement, delivering cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
