Duties
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Conduct regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
- Perform detailed financial analysis and account analysis to support business decisions.
- Manage bank reconciliation processes to maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize accounting software, including PeopleSoft, to streamline financial reporting and analysis.
- Provide guidance on wills, trusts, and estate law as it pertains to client financial planning.
- Collaborate with corporate finance teams to assess financial performance and develop strategies for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
Skills
- Proficient in tax preparation and knowledge of current tax laws.
- Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements.
- Solid grasp of financial concepts and principles.
- Experience with accounting software, particularly PeopleSoft.
- Knowledge of wills, trusts, and estate law is a plus.
