We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CPA Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, tax planning, and accounting services for individuals and small businesses. This role involves managing a diverse client portfolio, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the firm's long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex individual and small business tax returns (S-Corp, C-Corp, Partnership, and LLC).
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to optimize client outcomes.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff to enhance their professional development.
- Stay updated on federal and state tax regulations to ensure compliance and minimize liabilities for clients.
- Assist in firm management tasks, including client onboarding, workflow management, and quality control.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor for their financial needs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the firm’s growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax preparation and tax planning, with a focus on individuals and small businesses.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, UltraTax, Lacerte) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
