Kambo delivers three in-house programs: Empower Me, Community Power, and the Home Upgrades Program.
Empower Me delivers multilingual education, support, and coaching services to ensure underrepresented communities have access to energy, climate, and home retrofit programs.
Community Power supports Indigenous Nations to build, renovate, and improve community housing.
Home Upgrades Program provides fully subsidized energy retrofits to improve affordability for households living in energy poverty.
About the Opportunity
As the Senior Communications and Growth Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in elevating Kambo’s brand, developing communications and marketing strategies, and supporting client engagement efforts. Working closely with the communications and growth teams, you will craft targeted messaging, develop compelling content, and execute marketing strategies that align with Kambo’s revenue goals. This role requires a blend of storytelling, strategic communications, business development, and relationship management to ensure Kambo is positioned as an industry leader.
Core Accountabilities
Strategic Messaging & Brand Positioning
- Develop and refine key messaging and positioning while maintaining Kambo’s brand voice to ensure consistency across all content, client interactions, and deliverables.
- Maintain and enhance Kambo’s brand positioning in key markets, reinforcing value propositions effectively
- Craft and execute marketing and communication strategies aligned with growth objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify and execute partner marketing opportunities that elevate both our partners and Kambo’s story.
Content Development & External Communications
- Develop and deliver on content strategies that attract potential clients and position Kambo as an industry leader.
- Create high-quality written content (such as newsletters, articles, proposals, grants, reports, etc.) that aligns with our vision and creates value for our clients, communities, team, and industry.
- Distribute Kambo stories via channels such as LinkedIn, industry events, and newsletters.
Growth & Business Development Support
- Collaborate closely with the Growth Team to create targeted messaging, materials, and strategies that address client needs, interests, and challenges.
- Act as a liaison between the growth and marketing/communications teams to ensure alignment and support.
- Conduct market research and liaise with the Growth Team to identify lead generation opportunities.
- Support the Growth Team with strategic writing for proposals, grants, and other business development materials.
- Engage with clients and build strategic relationships with new and existing partners as needed.
Event & Conference Engagement
- Plan and manage external events, webinars, and activities aimed at lead generation.
- Identify, track, and apply for industry conferences and awards.
- Attend events and act as a company spokesperson to promote Kambo’s value proposition and story.
Tracking & Performance Optimization
- Track and report on lead generation efforts, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
