Description
The St. Louis West KOA offers picturesque camping as it was meant to be - with lots of trees, a babbling creek, fireflies, and a campfire under a starlit sky located on Historic Route 66, less than 1 mile from Six Flags St. Louis and I-44. We are looking for enthusiastic and outgoing work campers to join our outdoor hospitality team. Offering camping year-round in RVs, Cabins, Deluxe Cabins, and tents our goal is to create a great camping experience for our guests by offering excellent customer service. WORKING HOURS

- 7am-10pm with high activity on weekends and holidays - varies depending on season

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures customers receive a high level of service consistent with our customer service philosophy
- Help to ensure the safety of guest and campground property with attentive observation and action
- Coordinate with all staff for guest arrivals
- Coordinate with all staff for problem resolution when available
- Learn and operate Campground Management system
- Communicate with all staff and management using Microsoft Teams
- Enforce campground policies and implement solutions consistent with goals of park
- Proactive guest management to ensure positive environment for all guests
- Assist guests with arrival, check-in and departures
- Housekeeping duties to include the cleaning and preparation of our deluxe cabins and classic cabins
- Laundry of linens used in deluxe accommodations
- Light janitorial duties around the park
- Other duties as assigned by manager to ensure a successful guest experience
Requirements
• Good customer service and communications skills
• Able to work with others and work independently
• Licensed Driver-able to operate light vehicles safely on and off property
• Professional Appearance and attitude towards guests and fellow team members
• Communicate professionally and patiently
• Be on your feet during shift and able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
The working hours for this position can be Monday through Sunday 7am-10pm with high activity on weekends and holidays with a starting pay of rate of $15 and up depending on your experience. Successful applicants can expect between 15-40 hours per week depending on the occupancy of the park. This position is seasonal March - October. Ideally candidates are available for the entire season, but if not applicants available for at least 3 months will be considered. Accommodation options available at a nominal fee for employees who meet minimum weekly work hours.
