The Designer will be under the direct supervision of the Lead Designer, with a shared objective to develop and refine kitchen equipment and layouts specifically designed to meet the requirements of food service organizations. Their work prioritizes functionality, efficiency, safety, and compliance with established industry standards. Steering customer decision-making towards Design-Build project implementation.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Follow the direction of the Lead Designer to understand the client’s unique needs and goals for their foodservice operation. Recommend equipment and layouts that will maximize efficiency, workflow, and budget.
- Create detailed floor plans and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit that bring the design vision to life. Expertly translate plans into construction documents for smooth project execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with architects, engineers, estimators, installers, and tradespeople to deliver seamless, on-time projects.
- Integrate ergonomic principles to improve workflow and reduce physical strain on kitchen staff.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in kitchen technology and materials to recommend durable, cost effective, and sustainable solutions
- Continuously expand design skills and efficiency to provide increasing value to customers year after year.
- Partner with Project Managers to deliver a seamless experience to clients.
