Kanaloa Seafood, a growing privately-owned seafood importer / distributor, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee our accounting and finance organization. The Role
As our CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our company, from strategic planning to day-to-day operations. You will work closely with the senior management team to drive financial performance, optimize resource allocation, and ensure long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of accounting and finance operations, including daily management, financial reporting, federal / state tax reporting, compliance matters, budgeting / forecasting, and financial planning / analytics.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including cash management, sales orders, A / R, purchasing, inventory, A / P, financing, and general ledger management.
- Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization with strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows.
- Monitor business performance, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed management and ad hoc reports.
- Manage accounting personnel and coordinate with customer sales and purchasing staff.
- Oversee the company's financial / ERP system.
