Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales, providing exceptional service, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Your ability to handle cash transactions accurately and your knowledge of retail math will contribute to the overall success of our store.
This position will also have additional tasks - office duties, warranty, parts' sales, RV sales. We are a casual environment office.
Work hours are: Tuesday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm; Saturday 9 am - 3 pm. We are closed Sunday and Monday.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Engage with customers through effective communication and upselling techniques to enhance their shopping experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring all sales are processed correctly.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to provide informed recommendations.
- Utilize phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns over the phone.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall performance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and team members.
- Experience in upselling products and services is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
