Job Summary:
Day Services Managers are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of KANDU’s Day Services Department. They commonly manage a team of support service professionals and work to ensure that these individuals are providing quality care in accordance with KANDU standards and the state legislature.
DSMs may also be tasked with developing new ways to improve the efficiency or effectiveness of their department’s processes. This might include coming up with new training programs, implementing technology solutions, or creating other initiatives to help employees do their jobs more effectively and engage clients further.
Day Services Manager Job Duties:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction with the services provided.
- Overseeing maintenance of facilities and equipment, including ordering supplies or parts needed.
- Developing and implementing employee training programs to ensure that all team members are knowledgeable about their positions and expectations.
- Reviewing and approving invoices from vendors before payments are made.
- Evaluating employee performance, providing feedback, and offering training opportunities to help employees improve their skills.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of KANDU and Day Services in accordance with our mission, goals, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure that services are delivered to clients efficiently and effectively.
- Aid clients with food preparation, feeding clients, and personal hygiene ex. toileting, washing faces, changing depends, brushing teeth, emptying catheter bags if needed.
Day Services Manager Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to clients.
- Manage the staff of Client Services Representatives.
- Enlist support from the marketing team to reach new clients.
- Create and maintain a client communication platform.
- Promote cross-departmental communication.
- Ensure adequate coverage to meet the required staff-to-client ratios
Day Services Manager Qualifications:
- 5 years’ experience in Day Services or a similar position.
- CNA License is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of successful team management and leadership.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and implement process improvements.
- Strong project management skills.
Job Types: Full-time
Hours: Monday – Friday; 7:30 AM – 4 PM
· Pay: $20-$22/hour Depending on experience
