What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Forensic Psychologist position at Kane County Diagnostic Center?
The Kane County Diagnostic Center is expanding! We have an immediate opening for a Clinical Forensic Staff Psychologist. This is an exciting career path for forensic psychologists because of the wide variety of services we provide to the Court system.
The Diagnostic Center is the forensic psychology department for the 16th Judicial Circuit Court and the job entails writing court-ordered evaluations such as Sex Offender Evaluations, Fitness To Stand Trial, Sanity, Violence Risk Assessments, and conducting pre-employment screenings for the Sheriff's Office. The job would also involve providing treatment services to defendants, providing a psychoeducational class to divorcing parents as well as participating in court services activities and trainings. Duties also include supervising doctoral level interns and externs and teaching forensic topics during the diagnostic seminar group. The applicant must be experienced in psychological testing and have strong writing skills. This position requires a doctorate degree (Psy.D. or PhD) with licensure or license eligibility in Illinois.
