What You’ll Do
- Oversee Parts Procurement & Inventory – Manage spare parts, MRO supplies, and equipment to ensure smooth operations
- Vendor & Supplier Management – Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and drive cost savings
- Support Maintenance & Engineering – Ensure availability of critical parts for preventive & corrective maintenance
- ERP & Inventory Optimization – Utilize Syspro ERP (or similar) to track inventory, forecast demand, and prevent shortages
- Drive Cost Control & Process Improvements – Implement lean procurement strategies to maximize efficiency
What You Bring to the Table
✔ 5 years of procurement & inventory management experience in pulp & paper, industrial manufacturing, or a related heavy industry
✔ Deep knowledge of industrial spare parts, including pumps, valves, motors, boilers, conveyors, and process equipment
✔ Strong ERP experience (Syspro, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar)
✔ Hands-on approach – You know how to work in the trenches, problem-solve, and drive continuous improvement
✔ Strong negotiation & supplier management skills – You know how to secure quality, cost-effective parts with the best lead times
✔ Familiarity with safety & compliance regulations in industrial procurement
