ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review notifications with Production and convert to work orders as needed, making sure craft is correct
- Manage, plan, and schedule work order process
- Write and modify work orders as needed
- Communicate with production on daily basis to stay of production needs
- Participate in Maintenance scheduling meetings
- Monitor progress of maintenance work in the field to communicate any schedule changes to production
management
Review preventive maintenance for equipment and ensure complianceMonitor and identify need for spare partsCoordinate production aspects of equipment repairRequest bids from contract vendors for jobsEvaluate bids and recommend which vendor to useOversee vendors work when it does not involve MaintenanceEvaluate vendorsInterface with maintenance supervisor / engineers to assure timely shipment of partsInterface with maintenance supervisor / engineers to assure timely receipt of "rush" partsSeek out new vendors for field work, repair, and parts for specialty itemsPrepare and / or review Goods Receipts on POs as neededSchedule jobs and specialty (non-Maintenance) vendors for shutdownsAudit Work Orders for efficiency and cost controlNote : Regular attendance is an essential job function for this positionProvide and maintain a safe work environment by participating in safety programs, committees, orteams and by conducting safety audits.

Maintain complete and open lines of communication with other personnel, functions, or departments tofacilitate operations and interaction in the organization.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewingprofessional publications; establishing personal networks and keeping abreast of industry trends and
related compliance issues within the area of responsibilities.
Maintain professional conduct, attendance, and high ethical standards in the work place, complyingwith company's policies and procedures.
