Our Field Support Office has an immediate opening for a Full-time Precision Ag Technology Specialist to lead KanEquip Inc.’s efforts in advancing Case IH and New Holland branded product lines in addition to any 3rd party precision contracts held by KanEquip, Inc.

The Precision Ag Technology Specialist will contribute to our team by: (Duties and Responsibilities)
- Ensuring all company values are adhered to and promoted in day-to-day interactions and decisions.
- Ensuring all contracted OEM equipment or precision partner requirements / dealer standards associated with the function (i.e. training and retentions of new and legacy product lines) are satisfied.
- Ensuring relationships with industry partners are firm and any issues resolved as quickly as possible.
- Ensuring customers have industry leading experiences when dealing with KanEquip.
- Ensuring excellent communications with all salespersons and location personnel, including timely follow-up of questions and support for ag technologies.
- Being recognized as the in-region point person on ag technology products for KanEquip salespersons, and ‘Tier 3’ support for service as needed for all KanEquip customers in the region.
- Supporting customer operational issues by assisting with product updates, programming, calibration, and adjustments as needed.
- Attaining best in class product knowledge on latest Ag technologies.
- Serving as the product line expert in his / her Region, and working with the Precision Farming Manager, ensures the necessary product training for all personnel in the Region (sales, service, parts).
- Assisting store personnel in achieving targeted sales goals (volume, margin, turnover), through retaining and developing existing customers, and acquiring new customers. A primary focus is to penetrate competitive customers through selling KanEquip equipment products and services as ‘color-agnostic’ and best in industry.
If you have/can: (Skills and Experience)
- 2-5 years’ experience in operating agricultural equipment required. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Precision Farming / GPS technologies highly preferred. Previous experience in an equipment dealership preferred.
- Solid analytical, business planning, financial, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers and individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Expertise computer systems and software, including MS office and internet-based applications.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed, particularly in peak seasons.
- Ability to travel to company meetings, training events and customer support as needed.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle status, with current driver’s license, and ability to operate motor vehicle.
