Description
The Coordinator of Institutional Effectiveness works closely with the Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment to plan and implement successful grant-funding programs designed to support institutional needs and strategic goals. This position leads and manages the development, preparation, and submission of competitive proposals for successfully acquiring grants and funding college projects and initiatives. The coordinator will also facilitate various continuous quality improvement initiatives at the college.
Examples of Duties
A. Research and identify funding opportunities that align with the KCC’s grant development strategy and strategic goals.
B. Coordinate and facilitate pre-award grant responsibilities, including researching, writing and editing proposals, and monitoring post-award grant responsibilities, including compliance with funding agencies, tracking, reporting and use of funds.
C. Work closely with the finance team and the Business Office to support grant managers on grant budget load, spend-down, modification requests, and other grant-related financial matters.
D. Maintain records of grant due dates, grants submitted, active projects, performance metrics, and outcomes.
E. Collaborate with Institutional Effectiveness staff to facilitate the college program review process.
F. Facilitate various continuous quality improvement initiatives at the college in collaboration with other Institutional Effectiveness staff.
G. Collaborate with the Institutional Research and Information Technology staff to write queries and reports to gather data.
Minimum Qualifications
A. Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated competencies and knowledge of writing, research, grant management, and business are required.
B. Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
C. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
D. Strong oral, written, data processing, and interpersonal skills required.

Hiring Range: $52624 min. - $59502 1st quartile - $65,780 mid.
