Position, Department : Sr Videographer / Editor, Academic Affairs
Type of Position : Part-time Regular, Non-Exempt
Work Schedule, Hours per week : varies, 25 hours per week
Pay Range : $22.65 - $29.31 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.
Benefits Category : Part-time Benefits
Position Summary : Provide video recording and editing services in support of faculty, staff, and students in a variety of different formats and using different platforms. Manage multi-camera studio and remote projects from pre-production through final delivery.
Required Qualifications :
- High school diploma and 3 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge working with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- Knowledge and understanding of camera and audio technology, shot composition and framing, lighting, sound, and visual effects.
- Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technology.
- Ability to troubleshoot technology in high-pressure situations while remaining focused and calm.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate with various departments, leadership, committees, and JCCC community members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to think critically and creatively resolve problems.
- Demonstrate patience and knowledge to conduct training for new team members.
