Kansas City Allergy and Asthma Associates is looking for a Medical Biller to join our practice to assist our team in managing healthcare claims and patient accounts throughout the revenue cycle. Starting wage range: $18 - $21 per hour with quarterly bonus opportunities and hybrid work options following completion of the training period.

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Experience Preferred
- At least one year of relevant experience and/or billing training in a medical office
- Previous experience in roles requiring critical thinking and time management
Duties and Responsibilities
- Desire to communicate with patients in-person and over the phone reviewing claim information and providing education.
- Ability to work independently and as part of the billing team on common tasks
- Collect and post patient and insurance payments
- Resolve denied claims and actively manage claims throughout the appeals process
