PURPOSE OF JOB :
To Work with the conductor / teacher in providing a quality choir experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform piano accompaniments for choir while following the Conductor at a difficulty comparable to that in state high school competition.
- Practice accompaniments, if necessary, outside of the work day and without compensation.
- Perform accuratley 2, 3 and 4 parts in tempo as required during rehearsal.
- Be available to accompany nights and weekends for additional compensation at the hourly rate.
- Work with the conductor / teacher in providing a quality choir experience in rehearsal and concert settings.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT :
Length of work year : 10 month 8 hours per day; 5 days / week; 187 work days

KCPS Defined Benefit Pension plan - mandatory 9% contribution is required from employee and matched by KCPS; Voluntary retirement savings plans are also available.
