What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Practice Providers (ARPN or PA) position at Kansas City Orthopaedic Alliance?
The Kansas City Orthopedic Alliance is the largest, independently owned orthopedic specialty practice in the Kansas City metro area. We are seeking a Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) to assist our physicians. We have a strong preference for someone with two years Ortho experience. Please make sure if you have experience working in Orthopedics that it is clearly listed. KCOA currently has 6 locations through out south Kansas City KS and MO metro area. APP or PA may be required to travel to different locations to deliver services to our patients.
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will be an integral part of our orthopedic patient care team. Working directly with their assigned physician(s) this individual may evaluate, treat, assist in surgical procedures, document, communicate and coordinate patient care. Individuals in this role may have an autonomous schedule, as coordinated by their care team and may need to travel to multiple locations to deliver services. Hours are based on the supervising physician’s needs and the requirements of their patients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and successful completion of accredited Physician Assistant program or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
- Licensed and certification from your respective governing body to practice in Kansas and/or Missouri or a willingness to become licensed in both states.·
- Maintain National certification from respective governing body.
- Maintain CME requirements as dictated by respective governing body.
- Current CPR/BLS certificate.
