- Program development and implantation
- Conduct all necessary research and outreach to support a guardianship program
- Develop educational materials and related resources
- Establish a tracking system for programming activities
- Program oversight and administration
- Analyze pertinent laws, court rules, and court policies and procedures
- Coordinate, facilitate, and/or participate in a variety of meetings, conferences, and other related events to receive and convey information about guardianship
- Create any necessary educational materials and related resources.
- Establish systems for tracking program activities.
- Facilitate any necessary training and communication for KJB officers and employees
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- At least two years of experience in a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- A valid driver’s license
- Juris Doctorate, Master of Public Administration, or related degree that demonstrates the capacity to perform the essential functions of the position
- At least three years of work experience within a court system
- Knowledge of the organization, mission, and vision of the Kansas Judicial Branch
- Knowledge of applicable common law, local, state, and federal statutes, and the Rules of the Kansas Supreme Court as they apply to credentialing officers and employees.
- Ability to understand and implement Office of Judicial Administration policy in areas of assigned responsibilities.
- Skill in organizing, planning, developing, and managing programs and prioritizing work
- Ability to maintain professional working relationships with court personnel and the public in formal and informal settings as a representative of the Office of Judicial Administration
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, whether orally or in writing, with judges, other court employees, and the public
- Ability to build rapport and professional working relationships with others
- Ability to set clear, professional boundaries and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to make decisions that require considerable judgment, initiative, discretion, and ingenuity in areas where there may be little precedent
- Ability to prioritize work, work independently without daily direct supervision, and manage a variety of projects elements simultaneously
- Ability to maintain accurate records and to analyze data
- Ability to travel overnight
