Maintenance and Purchasing Clerk needed to coordinate building maintenance services and purchasing activities for our orthopaedic clinic. This is a great position for someone who likes variety and working independently!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Order, receive and deliver office and medical supplies, updating order status as needed and maintaining clinic supply par levels and forms room par levels.
Assess immediate or ongoing maintenance, cleaning, and building security concerns or problems and take prompt action to resolve them. This includes performing light maintenance or janitorial services if needed, such as cleaning spills or dusting.
Maintain all maintenance contracts, agreements and service reports and ensure services are billed and paid correctly.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and processing of invoices.
Prepare monthly reports for purchasing and perform maintenance of purchase orders.
Facilitate usage and maintenance of company vehicle and maintain driver information.
Punctual attendance to all scheduled shifts and facility inservices.
Contributes to a positive work climate and the overall team effort of organization.
Personally adhere to the standards, rules, and procedures of the KOC Compliance and HIPAA Programs and contribute to ensuring the organizational commitment to compliance and HIPAA regulations.
Provide general support as needed for administrative projects, functions and departments.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2 years of administrative/purchasing/negotiating experience; previous experience maintaining property preferred
Demonstrated efficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook programs; accounting software experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment dealing with multiple tasks and priorities with good organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills; must be detail-oriented
Must work well independently; self-motivated and self-directed
Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with other staff and to maintain good vendor relations
Basic math and ten-key skills
Valid Kansas driver's license
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to lift 1- 30 lbs. on a regular basis
Frequent walking, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and stretching/reaching
Ability to sit at a desk and computer for extended periods of time
Ability to walk the property
Ability to climb ladders and/or step stools
Ability to use cutting instruments to open boxes
Frequent use of hands or fingers to utilize keyboard; ability to grasp and lift items to stock shelves or handle tools or equipment
SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Occasional same-day travel to satellite offices, to purchase supplies, or to maintain company vehicle.
