Regular Part-Time, Non-Exempt
$12 per hour
Number of positions available: 1
Actively hiring for Summer 2025
- Ability to commit a minimum of 12hrs/week during the school year, with a preference of 15hrs/week.
- Students are eligible to work up to 40 hours/week during the summer, based on departmental needs. Preference given to students eligible to work a minimum of 20hrs/week.
Are you a K-State student interested in a flexible work schedule, competitive pay, and supporting the University? The Student Development Operations Assistant provides administrative and project support in a variety of ways for the development operations team.
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the development operations team, including filing, scheduling appointments, drafting correspondence, document imaging, and assisting with special projects as assigned.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the development operations department and its sub-departments.
- Prepare for and attend development operations leadership meetings, as requested
- Maintain a broad understanding of the organization’s structure, staff roles, and departmental functions to provide effective support.
Project Management Support
- Support project management efforts by tracking assignments and deadlines, monitoring progress, generating reports on task completion, and sending reminders to ensure timely execution.
- Assist in the planning and execution of organization events, including event setup and breakdown, and assisting with logistical details as directed.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in coursework at Kansas State University
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Attention to detail
