Position Overview:
The Head Men’s Soccer Coach is responsible for recruiting, coaching, and developing student-
athletes for the men’s soccer program at Kansas Wesleyan University. This includes overseeing
team practices, competitions, and community outreach, ensuring the program meets its roster
requirements, and maintaining academic and athletic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coaching (40%): Lead practices and games, provide individual and team coaching, and use
- Recruiting (40%): Recruit players for the program, maintain a full roster, and ensure
- Administration (20%): Oversee student-athlete eligibility, maintain equipment and
- Community Engagement (5%): Lead community service projects, engage with alumni, and
Work Schedule/Conditions: Full-time, with flexible hours for practices, games, and recruiting.
Significant travel required for games and recruitment. Outdoor work in various weather conditions.

- Ensure a minimum roster size and achieve athletic success by maintaining a competitive
