Summary: The Waypoint Operations Manager is responsible for recruiting, training, motivating, developing, and coordinating the activities of their location’s personnel to ensure an effective operation and an exceptional customer experience.

Job Title: Waypoint Lounge Operations Manager

Reports to: Kante Group General Manager

Summary: The Waypoint Operations Manager is responsible for recruiting, training, motivating, developing, and coordinating the activities of their location’s personnel to ensure an effective operation and an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities & Duties:

·      Ensure a great restaurant experience for customers

·      Successfully lead a team to create a positive and productive work environment.

·      Oversee esports operations & events team

·      Work with the marketing coordinator to ensure on-brand and effective marketing strategies.

·      Network and build relationships with other professionals and enthusiasts.

·      Actively interact with customers to provide exceptional service.

·      Oversee food quality and enforce food handling regulations.

·      Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs.

·      Handle budget administration and preparation, including forecasting, profit and loss accountability, cost control, and inventories.

·      Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Working Conditions:

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL: This position may require occasional lifting and carrying of objects up to 30 pounds. Duties are performed in office, store, outdoor, and restaurant settings. Regularly required to reach, talk, listen, interpret, and communicate, both verbally and in writing. Frequently required to stand or sit for extended periods of time; frequently required to walk in and around the businesses and to move between floors and utilize stairs as necessary. Vision is expected to be at a level proficient for reading and viewing monitors and other hardware components. Works in a professional environment including office, store, and restaurant with possible high-stress levels.
