The role :

Reporting to our Area Sales Manager, as an Account Executive you will partner with existing salon accounts and opening new accounts within a territory to achieve monthly sales goals for the Salon division, growing our business of portfolio brands , in Goldwell, KMS, Kerasilk, and Varis

You will be remote and cover the following counties : Hartford County, Select areas of Litchfield County.

What you will do :

  • Maintain sales partnership with existing accounts and identify new accounts to maximize sales efforts.
  • Meet with clients to promote the purchase, sell-through and support of Kao USA salon products, promotions and programs.
  • Establish a relationship with top 25 competitor's salon customers within assigned territory
  • Work with Marketing and Education Departments to ensure education events which include classes, workshops, seminars and shows, VIP events.
  • Complete all communication and assignments on time and submit all written reports as assigned to meet deadlines.

Requirements :

  • 2 years of outside sales experience.
  • Identify sales opportunities, present, and close the sale.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional business relationships.
  • Working knowledge of CRM
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Professional and groomed appearance
  • Access to registered and insured vehicle
  • Daily local travel within territory and periodic overnight travel for training and company meetings
