Tool and Die Maker II- Kapco Osceola, WI
If you are driven to succeed with a passion for the professional growth and development of others, our employee-focused company may have the right opportunity for you. Kapco Inc. is looking for a Tool & Die Maker II at our Osceola, WI facility.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs skilled duties in developing and building dies, jigs, fixtures, etc.
- Building new and repairing of existing dies, consisting of progressive dies, fixtures, etc.
- Works from blueprints and sketches to create or modify prototypes, tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and molds.
- Calculates the dimensions and tolerances required to set up the machine tools.
- Operates lathes, grinders, milling and boring machines to produce tools.
- Performs all Tool and Die Maintenance and Repairman duties, effectively and efficiently as needed.
- Verifies that quality and print specifications are met.
- Orders supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
- Requires a two-year trade school program, or equivalent.
- Three to five years previous experience in building new metal stamping and progressive dies required.
