Job Summary:
The Roofing Production Manager oversees the entire production process for residential and commercial roofing projects, ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality execution. This hands-on leadership role involves managing crews, coordinating materials, and upholding safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in roofing and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of roofing production for residential and commercial projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet company quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate roofing crews to adhere to project schedules and safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-construction meetings to define scope, timelines, and client expectations.
- Manage material deliveries and allocate resources effectively for each project.
- Inspect job sites for compliance with safety regulations, quality control, and project specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the production process.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
- Obtain and manage all necessary permits and inspections, ensuring full compliance.
- Keep detailed records of project progress, including schedules, costs, and scope changes.
- Collaborate with project management and estimating teams to provide updates and feedback on performance.
- Implement and uphold health and safety standards for all roofing activities.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Roofing Production Manager or a similar role in the roofing industry.
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA and local safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred:
- 5 years of experience in roofing production management.
- Familiarity with various roofing systems (e.g., TPO, EPDM, asphalt shingles, metal roofing).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
