What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roofing Production Manager position at Roofcrafters Roofing?
RoofCrafters Roofing LLC, is looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our team! This person will lead the successful execution of a variety of projects from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent time-management and problem-solving abilities who thrives in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-time, in-budget projects - Execute projects within the intended scope, timeframe and funds.
- Communicate with clients - Drive contact with clients throughout the project lifecycle to understand/set expectations, establish timelines and grow the relationship.
- Develop project plans - Create detailed plans for each project to outline execution strategy including objectives, schedule, and cost.
- Track and communicate progress - Measure performance for presentation to clients and internal leadership.
- Monitor all phases of construction and know how to perform the jobs in every area of production
- Develop, implement, and monitor reports that track the progress of every job in production
- Safety; monitor safety inspection forms, employee and crew safety, accountability for self and team; re-training when guidelines are not met
- Work with contractors and suppliers to negotiate fair and optimal material cost
- Track and resolve all production-related issues and warranty calls
- Attend required meetings
- Manage and Lead Team; training, increase efficiency, assist in identifying and solving problems
- This position is approximately 70% Office and 30% Field
Requirements:
- Min. 5 years experience and knowledge of ALL Roofing Systems; Shingle, Metal, TPO, Specialty, and repairs
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Advanced skillset in time management and task prioritization
- Passion for managing teams and driving results
- Ability to multitask and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Previous experience with Acculynx, another CRM or the ability to learn one
- Ability to climb a ladder and access roof, not afraid of heights
- Ability to enter confined spaces such as attics
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, twist, and move efficiently with reasonable accommodations if required

Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
