Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 Superannuation
An excellent opportunity is available for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic and supportive team in Brisbane. This role provides hands-on experience across a variety of projects in the commercial, residential and government sectors. The successful candidate will gain valuable industry exposure, working alongside experienced professionals to develop their skills in cost estimation, contract administration, and project financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, feasibility studies, and tender documentation.
- Support the development of bills of quantities and cost plans.
- Conduct on-screen take-offs using industry-standard software.
- Assist in contract administration, procurement, and progress claim assessments.
- Work closely with project teams to monitor costs and provide financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Australian construction measurement standards.
- Contribute to risk analysis and value engineering initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in quantity surveying (including internships or placements).
- Familiarity with cost estimating software such as CostX, Cubit, or similar (desirable).
- Understanding of Australian construction contracts and measurement standards (desirable).
