Second Nature Brands is on a mission to grow from $500M to $1B over the next 4 years through an aggressive combination of M&A and organic growth. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator will be an essential member of the Human Resources team, working in fast-paced manufacturing facilities. This role will split time between our Madison Heights and Clinton Township manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will be key in coordinating Human Resources administrative activities.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide general administrative Human Resources support for employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits administration, engagement, and other duties.
- Coordinate various Human Resources related functions including meetings, interviews, employee events, and celebrations.
- Assist with talent acquisition by screening candidates, production floor tours, scheduling orientations/training sessions, and processing background checks.
- Generate and prepare Human Resources reporting and documentation.
- Coordinate and design messaging and postings using PowerPoint and similar.
- Assist with weekly payroll processing.
Knowledge and Experience
- Degree in Human Resources preferred.
- Proven experience in an HR role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience creating Human Resources literature (postings, presentations, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems, preferably ADP
- Ability to be versatile, creative, and resourceful
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A positive attitude and a passion for creating a great workplace.
