Janitorial Job Description
Karat By Lollicup, headquartered in Chino, CA is the manufacturer of Karat® food disposable goods and TeaZone® beverage products, the distributor of other leading brands' coffee & tea ingredients, & specializes in custom print and innovative packaging. We have been recognized for our thermoforming plastic capabilities in North America to produce cups and food packaging products that allow us to offer competitive pricing throughout our distribution network (currently 5 regional warehouses are located in CA, SC, WA, TX and NJ), and services to chain accounts such as Panda Express, Flame Broiler, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and more.
Job Duties
· Daily maintenance and cleaning of all floors, walls, sinks, fixtures, restrooms and toilets and other areas within the facility
· Periodic restocking of all cleaning and sanitary supplies
· Sanitization of breakrooms and equipment
· Floorcare (sweep and mop floor)
· Emptying trash (non-recyclable)
· Clean work area surfaces
· Sterilize Hand Wash Facilities
· Clean and check equipment
· Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
· Mix various cleaning agents
· Clean windows of machinery (after training) when safe to do so
· Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants
· Identify and report possible repairs
· Fix minor plumbing leaks
· Keep parameters of building debris free
· Dusting and wiping down paper and plastic forming machines on production floor
· Sweeping production floor
· Breaking down pallets
· Outside groundskeeping duties
· Other janitorial duties as assigned
Schedule: Monday to Friday 2:00PM to 10:30 PM
COMPENSATION:
Up to $15.50/hour DOE Health/Dental/Vision benefits available after passing a three-month probation period. 401(k) available after first year.
