What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer III position at Kardex?
The Software Engineer III is a critical part of the software team and is responsible for developing the Warehouse Execution System (WES) named FulFillX by Kardex product. He / she will work closely with the product team to design and develop the scope of work for the product and set up and / or customize the software to meet the requirements without much guidance.
The candidate will work closely with the [Quality Assurance Engineer] to develop and debug test conditions for the implementation that was executed. He / she will also support the product and project through testing and ramp up phases of new releases to resolve bugs and environmental factors.

Your tasks
Responsibilities
- Plays a key role in architectural decisions and complex system designs.
- Leads larger projects and provides technical guidance to the team.
- May involve mentoring junior developers and contributing to strategic planning.
- Able to understand customer requirements and do full design and breakdown tasks.
- Create documentation for future reference and deployments and continuously update for future references
- Lead and oversee the design and architecture of complex software systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
- Drive innovation and introduce new technologies or methodologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Support in a level 4 product support capacity.
Training / Education :
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a similar field is preferred.
Excellent communication skills
Professional Experience :
5 years' experience with C# software engineering experience
Experience with HTTP, JavaScript (REACT), JSON, and Node JavaScript
Experience with SQL, SOAP, API, XML, REST
Experience with API integration.
Experience designing and architecting systems.
Proven portfolio of projects
Other Experiences :
Experience supporting and developing Warehouse control systems is preferred.
Experience with coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams through multiple pieces of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Detailed understanding of logistics and IT processes
